The eyeshadow palette I used on the day was Dior's Beige Massai which is discontinued, but Huda Beauty's Rose Gold Edition Palette has similar tones and ELF – Mad for Matte 2 – is a great high street alternative. On my nails is Essie's Mademoiselle. X

Lisa, I am getting married this Saturday and I just love how fresh and natural you kept your makeup. Very similar to how mine will be. Thank you for sharing with us. I’d love to see photos of your day and lovely dress 🙂

Lisa. Would it be possible to post a picture of yourself on your wedding day on your website or is that too personal? I bet you looked ravishing! And I’d love to see the Alexander McQueen dress. 🙂 xx

Shannon Mooney Yes I know, she posted that one a couple of months ago. But I meant one from the front where you can see not only her makeup on the day but a clear frontal view of the dress as well. 🙂

I’m South Asian and at our weddings there’s a tendency for brides to go all out, especially now after the Instagram makeup trends brides have full drag makeup. This is so elegant and timeless. You’ve inspired my wedding makeup.

I’m always excited for Lisa because even if I know how to do the look she’s showing I still feel like there’s something more that she’ll bring to it. Maybe I’ll learn a new technique, or new fact, but there’s a guarantee that I will learn something.

I don’t know why, but your videos always make me feel good about myself. Other tutorials I feel like I’m being talked down to and feel almost embarrassed that I can’t do that sort of stuff already – or the tutorials have very little verbal explanation – but with yours I feel like it’s a normal face-to-face conversation similar to what would happen in person.
The overall ease, yet casual and laidback tone is amazing. ^_^

i’ve found that if I have trouble sleeping, that watching your videos soothes me enough that I can calmly doze off at the end of the video, there’s just something about your voice and method of working

Would anyone else like to see a tutorial of Cindy Crawford’s classic 90’s look? I think I read somewhere that Lisa used to do her make up and I would love to see a tutorial girls with a mark like Cindy’s could do!

I just adore you. When you said “I’ve wet my brush with some peppermint tea that I have here… I’m not saying you should do that I just didn’t have any water” I laughed out loud. You are so ridiculously talented and classy. Xo

I live in the US and I just was at Walgreens yesterday and purchased a Covergirl quad called Coffee Shop Cafe Bistro #260. It has almost the exact same colors you used on your eyes. I have it in my hands right now and can’t believe what a dupe this is for the Dior you used.

Your wedding makeup look was timeless. And not just ten to twenty years ago or ten to twenty years from now. But like timeless for a century ago and a century from now. I think the pink mauve makeup trend nearly all brides seem to do these days is a bit overdone and not as timeless.

+LisaEldridge u are my favourite makeup artist..I haven’t missed a video of yours till date. Lisa I am a doctor and I have an NC 42 – NC 43.5 skin tone.please do a tutorial appropriate for working hours for a professional like me.its quite tricky finding a balance between too much and too less, but u do these looks so well!

Awww Lisa, you are a wizardess!! I really wish you could do my wedding makeup – and I’m a painfully single 21-year old who won’t be getting married anytime soon haha.. I’d love for you to do the makeup of every woman on Earth so even just once we could all see how it feels to be touched by a little bit of your magic ❤️ ❤️

CURRENTLY SAVING UP TO HAVE LISA ELDRIDGE AS MY WEDDING MAKEUP ARTIST.

DON’T CARE IF I WEAR A CHEAP WEDDING DRESS AND ONLY HAVE A FEW GUESTS ON MY FUTURE WEDDING. etc etcxxxxxxx

What do you mean not professional? Do you even know the definition of professional? He is obviously being paid by his profession. Yes he might not be as big as Lisa, but they are definitely on the same league.

  13. RestlessFeathers

If I ever do get married (I don’t plan on it anytime soon), I think I would rather have a dress that hugged the neckline with lace. It seems old-fashioned, but I’ve always pictured my wedding to be a delicate, Edwardian-inspired one.
