You are right, I never understood the appeal of changing your skin colour 5 shades lighter and then add bright colours EVERYWHERE. if you see her everyday makeup, it looks 5000 times better than this. She looks like a human. You can easily go for a vintage look (simple eye, bright lipstick) and it fits very well with Indian bridal wear. I did bright lipstick and simple smokey eye for my red bridal dress and it looked good. I was recognizable.
